Oudolf Garden Detroit is open to the general public every day of the week from dawn to dusk on Detroit’s Belle Isle. Piet Oudolf designed this naturalistic public garden to be enjoyed during all four seasons. Both artistic and ecological by design, Oudolf chose perennials, grasses, shrubs, and trees for their hardiness, durability, and ever-changing textures and colors for enjoyment in all four seasons. The 2.5 acre garden sits in front of the Nancy Brown Peace Carillon.
