Greetings and thank you for your interest in supporting the daffodil project and your time and effort planting bulbs with us on Saturday, October 14th. This is a great volunteer activity for people of all ages, so please feel free to bring your children, friends and family.

One our dynamic Conservatory volunteers will meet everyone at the paddock at 9:30am. A map to guide you to the paddock is attached; it is the gated parking lot that is just next to the Scott Fountain. Please bring work gloves a trowel/small hand shovel and any additional garden supplies you prefer to use. We will have plenty of dirt and bulbs to share!

Please join us Saturday, October 14th, 2017 as we plant 100,000 daffodil bulbs on Belle Isle. The end goal of this very special, multi-year project is to plant one bulb for every resident of the city of Detroit, and to watch them bloom island-wide each spring. This volunteer event is perfect for individuals, families, community groups and corporate support. Location and parking details coming soon.
